The Blast Furnace Project of MCC19 Formosa Plastic Co. Ha Tihn Steel Industrial Limited Liability Company Commenced

Formosa Plastic Co. Ha Tihn steel industrial limited liability company held commencement ceremony for it\'s No.1 and No.2 blast furnace project in Vinh Yen economic development zone at 9:16 a.m., 2nd March, 2013. It marks the furnace project come to main construction phase.

The blast furnace project of Formaosa Plastic Co. Ha Tihn Steel Industrial Limited Liability Company is general contracted by CISDI. First phase contains two 4350m3 blast furnace process system. Except pile foundation work, MCC19 contract to build all the rest contents within borderline, including civil construction, materials purchase, refractory materials building, equipment assembly, installation, tubing and wiring on site, pipeline pressure test and flushing, single commissioning and no load test, combining cooperation test with owner and general contractor, heating-up, airtightness test, commissioning and going into operation up to standard, guarantee, etc.

According to the contract, in the next 38 months MCC19 will approximately poure 170,000 m3 concrete, install 55,000 tons steel structure, 40,000 tons equipments, and 520,000 tons refactory materials. The programe of the construction requires No.1 blast furnace to be completed on 31 May, 2015 and No.2 furnace to be completed on 31 May, 2016. Annual output of molten iron can reach to 7,000,000 tons.
