Bengali AKG Group Corporation Visits China MCC19

On February 1, the president assistant of Bengali AKG Group Corporation Rahaman led a visiting group to visit China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation by the introduction of our partner China XD Group. The Chairman of China 19th Metallurgical Corporation Tian Ye and the Deputy General Manager Ding Xiaobo received the visiting group.
As a super-large comprehensive corporation in South Asia Area covering steel, cement, cigarette, food and other businesses, Bengali AKG Group Corporation is the largest group corporation in Bengal. A visiting group consisting of the president assistant of AKG Group Corporation Rahaman, directors of AKS Steel Corporation Abdul Kader, Nasr Uddin and Nasher Uddin intends to find a partner for establishing a new steel-making plant with an annual capacity of 1.3 million tons in Chittagong, a costal city in the southern Bengal.
The visiting group visited the electric furnace plant project of Pangang Group Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co., Ltd. constructed by China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation and the “Western Iron Arm Exhibition Hall” in Pixian County. They highly recommended the glorious history and great construction capacity of China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation. During the following meeting, both AKG Group Corporation and China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation showed a great cooperation interest in the 1.3 million ton electric furnace plant project which will be established in the Chittagong of Bengal.
The EAF+LF+CCM short flow steel-making process will be adopted in the proposed steel-making plant of AKG Group Corporation. Main equipment includes two 85 ton DC EAF furnaces, two 86 ton AC LF furnaces, one 6-unit 6-strand continuous casting machine (CCM) and relevant public auxiliary facilities in dedusting, oxygen generation, water treatment, steel structure, transformer substation, etc., which will be mainly supplied by Italian Daniel Corporation and some German and Indian companies. China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation, the “western iron army”, is quite competent for this project, which also provides a good chance for China 19th Metallurgical Group Corporation to march in the steel-making plant construction market in the South Asia area.
